Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING I Mrs. Helen Blederman and son of California have been In south-em south-em Utah this past week. They arrived to attend the funeral services ser-vices of Mrs. Blederman's brother-in-law, Mr. Rue Heppler, of Beaver. During their stay here, they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Corry. Visiting In Cedar City during the holiday were Mr. and Mrs. Clesson Bauer. They were guests of Mr. Bauer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bauer. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Talanson, their grandson. Seaman Mike Rollins, and Mrs. Nona Banta arrived In Cedar City last week to spend the Memorial Day holiday. holi-day. Mr. and Mrs. Talancon of National City and Mrs. Banta of Heyward, Calif., remained here until Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. David Jenson. Seaman Rollins left earlier In the week to fly back to Guam where he is stationed. sta-tioned. Other visitors at the David Da-vid Jenson home has been Mrs. Jcnson's aunt, Mrs. George (Phy. lis) Bridges of Antimony, Utah. The four sons of Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Hunter have been spending spend-ing the past week In Hurricane with their aunt while their mother mo-ther has been recovering from an Illness. Wana Hoyle was the hostess Friday evening for members of her card club. Ida Sherratt and Maxine Cook attended as guests. Prizes were awarded to Sharon Bulloch, Ida Sherratt, Ruby Webster Web-ster and Pharol Adams. Mrs. Robert Reld and children drove to California last week. They were accompanied by Mrs. Rc-ld's mother, Mrs. Carroll Med-der Med-der of Moab, Utah. Their holiday holi-day was planned to include a visit with Mrs. Reld's grandfather. grandfa-ther. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Stapley will witness the Utah State University Uni-versity graduation exercises this week, their daughter, Marilyn S. Hawley will receive her B. S. in Secondary Education. Mrs. James Hoyle and two youngest children traveled to Salt Lake City last Saturday where they visited with Mrs. Hoyle's brothers and sisters and their families. Parents of Mr. Gary Hogan arrived in Cedar City last week from their home in Burley, Ida. Gary, who returned to Idaho with his folks, plans to vacation for two weeks before enrolling In summer school at B Y U. |
