I The filly Is actually an ex-, ex-, tremely unusual cross between a I Welch Pony and a Burro. I The filly was given the name i of "Lady Burt," named after the . jther which has been called I "Burty." Chances of such a match are ; ; extremely unusual. The burro was brought to this area by Sally j I Wyss of Cedar City who acquir-, I ed the animal in old Mexico. The ! Welch Pony stallion that sired 1 the foal belongs to Elsworth Flanigan of Cedar City. j j "Lady Burt," has most of the I characteristics of her mother, but is pure black, and has the hair i characteristics of the Welch Pony j I including the mane. j |
