Show Farewell Testimonial To Honor 3rd Ward Missionary r V .! i ' ' ' " ELDER JAY M. GRAFF I A farewell testimoniel will be held Sunday, June 7 at 2 p. m. in the Parowan Third Ward chapel cha-pel in honor of Elder Jay M. Graff, who has been called to serve as a missionary for the LDS Church. The testimonial will be held in connection with the ward sacrament meeting at 2 p. m. and friends and relatives of Elder Graff are invited to attend. Elder Graff will serve in the Southern Far East Mission with headquarters in Hong Kong, China. Chi-na. He will enter the mission home in Salt Lake City on Monday, Mon-day, June 22.. Jay is a graduate of Parowan High School where he served as student body president. He was active in all sports and was a member of the school band. lie is also a graduate of the LDS Seminary Sem-inary program, and has completed com-pleted four quarters of work at CSU. Speakers at the testimonial will be Lloyd Shields and Marion Graff, uncles of the missionary, and Hal S. Mitchell. Musical numbers on the program will be a piano solo by Barbara Ann Graff, a sister, and a song by a boys trio Including Robin Graff, Tom Benson and Blaine Hyatt. There will be remarks by Bish-od Bish-od Verl E. Taylor and a response by the missionary. Invocation will be by Jan Graff, and the benediction by Gordon Adams. |
