Show Nov Mortuary Holds Open House Sunday An open house held at the re- j cer.tly opened Spilsbury Mortuary Mortu-ary on South Main Street in Cedar City, was termed most successful suc-cessful by its operators, Le-Grande Le-Grande Spilsbury and Dudley Leavitt. The facility is now open for business. Both men have had experience in the business with Spilsbury a practicing mortician for the past 20 ycfuv Leavitt previously had worked with Spilsbury in his establishment in St. George. LeGrande began his career in 1939 after graduating from the California College of Embalming. ! He served an apprenticeship in : Salt Lake Ciety an dopened a mortuary in Cedar City in 1941. He graduated from Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural College here in 1934 1 and from Brigham Young University Uni-versity in 1936, serving in the French mission for the LDS Church following his graduation. |
