Show CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Special guests invited to hear a timely report presented to the Heading Club were Violet Urie and Maude Matheson. The two ladies joined with the regular club members at the home of Sade Thorley, where they enjoy--d hearing Cora Stu.ki review the book by Wendell Ashion, Voice in the W ?st." The hook, a biography of a pioneer newspaper, newspap-er, is the story of the Deseret News. Co-hostess for the special occasion was Kthel Lund. Mrs. Lund and Mrs. Thorley served a delicious luncheon to the group in the Thorley home which was deeoratetl in keeping with the holiday season. Waiting for their Tort call to Manila where they will greet husband and father are Mrs. Robert Ro-bert Trammell and two children. Craig and Carol. Mrs. Trammell, the former Lu Jean Webster, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. j Wilford Webster. The Trammells ! will stay at the Webster home until time for their departure. Romona Esplin of the Zion Sun Floral Shop accompanied Colleen Urie and her children to Salt Lake City last week. The ladies made the trip for business and shopping purposes. |
