Show SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Davenport Elder Leon Maxwell of Enoch, who recently returned from an L. D. S. Mission, was the speaker speak-er in Sacrament meeting Sunday. The Bishopric and the Senior Aaronic Committee and- their wives had a program Sunday evening in the Relief Society room for all the ward Senior Aaronic members and their wives. Out of town guests invited in-vited here were Mr. and Mrs. i Wm. T. Davenport, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson and Mrs. Wilma Lamoreaux of Paragonah. Mr. I Davenport entertained the group I with a comic reading and three I songs and Mrs. Robinson played several numbers on her saxa-phone. saxa-phone. Both were accompanied by Mrs. Lamoreaux. Otto ne of Cedar City was here as guest speaker and Bishop Ivan Dalley showed some very interesting films. At the close of the program pro-gram pie and ice cream was served. Mr. Carlisle Hulet was seriously serious-ly hurt in an accident Monday morning while on the job for the State R' id. His foot was badly crushed and he had to undergo surgery in the Iron Co. Hospital. Mrs. Minnie Dalley accompanied accompan-ied her sister, Mrs. Loone Ras-mussen Ras-mussen to St. George Thursday, where they spent the day visiting visit-ing their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hulet. I Saturday evening, Mrs. Minnie Dalley and daughter, Mary Beth, traveled to the Recreation Center i in the Escalante Valley with Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Rasmussen of Parowan, to attend the wedding wed-ding reception of their nephew, Clair Hulet and Miss Judy Del Vecchio. Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Morton and daughter spent the week end in Newcastle with Mrs. Mor-I Mor-I ton's folks, the Albert Harrisons, i Mrs. Jeanette Bayles and daughter, Mrs. Joan Jerome, and children were here December 7, ' to help Mrs. Minnie Dalley cele-I cele-I brate her birthday and have birthday dinner with her. Also dropping in to say happy birth-1 day were Mrs. Violet Hulet, Mrs. Jean Farrow and Mrs. Pauline Hulet. The priests of our Ward and their parents met at the Earl Stapley home Monday evening for a cottage meeting. Visiting at the Ardon Richards' home over the week end were his brother. Reed Richards of Salt Lake City and Lucius Richards Rich-ards of Las Vegas. They were here to attend the funeral of ; their step-mother, Mrs. Janie Richards. |
