Show CSU HoopstersGet Set Down By San Bernardino A cold rhooling College of Southern Utah Thunderbird basketball bas-ketball team suffered Its first loss of the 19(il-C2 season Monday Mon-day evening as it fell by a score of 63 to 46 at the hands of San Bernardino. The 46 point output by the Thunderbirds was far below their average of Just under 80 points per game, racked up in the first series of games including the CSU invitational tournament. Both clubs moved out slowly in the first half with San Bernardino Ber-nardino leading by only one at halftime, 26 to 23. Reed, outstanding out-standing center for the California club, was held scoreless in the first half but came back in the second period with 13 big points to lead his teammates. LaMar Pugh of the Thunderbirds Thunder-birds hit for 13 and Larry Deh-lin Deh-lin connected for 10. They were the only T-Birds to get in the double figures. |
