Show Chamber of Commerce Mails Out Ballots A nominating committee of, past presidents has announced this week a ballot for ofieers of, the Cedar City Chamber of Com-; merce for 1W1 and VX,2. Candidates for vice president include Wm. S. (Dub Leigh, manager of Leigh Furniture and Carpet Co., and Farrell M. Peterson, Pet-erson, manager of the Bradshaw Chevrolet Service Station. Candidates Named The nominating committee selected two candidates for each of the four two-year board positions. posi-tions. They Include: Keith Averett against Richard Gillies; Bud Bowman against David R. Berry; Ralph liaren against John Quinn, and Richard A. Manzione against Clifford Williams. Members of fthe Chamber of Commerce will receive postcard ballots, Corry stated. Holdover board members who will serve the second year of their terms during 19(52 Include Dixie Leavitt, Lehl Jones ami Arnold Anderson, who was re-cetnly re-cetnly named to the board to fill a vacancy which was brought about by the resignation of Floyd Atkin. Mr. Atkin has accepted ac-cepted a call to the mission field for the LDS Church and will leave on his mission January 1st. |
