Show KANARRAVILLE NEWS Mr. Hannah Davit Snow fell here off and on Sa- turday and Sunday, leaving a white blanket on the ground. Monday It was clear and cold. Saturday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams were Mr. and Mrs. Dean Gardner of St. George. Stake officers at our MIA last week were Thomas Challis and Robert Llnford. Elmer and Bessie Davis, Sylvia Williams and Hannah Davis attended at-tended funeral services for Oma Eugene Bechtel at Richfield last week. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams weic called to Las Vegas because of the illness of their granddaughter, grand-daughter, Ann Jackson, who had to submit to surgey after swallowing swal-lowing a nickel which lodged in her stomach. The operation was successful and she Is improving. im-proving. They were accompanied by Amanda Williams. Ann is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Jackson. The following ladies from Cedar Ce-dar City attended at quilting at Lillian Williams' home last week: Rhea Wakeling, Ella Holy-oak, Holy-oak, Iva Cosslett, Pauline Neptune Nep-tune and Lillian Ahlstrom. Mr. and Mrs. Rowen Williams and family were home over the week end from Las Vegas. Marva Prince and two small sons, Elwin and Gary, of New Harmony, sjcnt Friday here with her mother, Hannah Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Robinson have gone to northern Utah and will spend the holidays there with some of their children. |
