Show LtGrary Club Meats I To Enjoy Arts, Crafts Discussion The first December meeting of the Parowan Literary Chili was held at the home of Mrs. Amos Hatch Wednesday evening. Dec. 6 with 21 members in attendance.' Mrs. Arch Benson, club presi- j dent, presided and conducted the meeting which began with group singing led by Mrs. Mario Top-ham Top-ham with Mrs. Wm. Marsden at the piano. A short business session ses-sion followed where several matters mat-ters pertaining to the club were discussed and voted on. The time was then turned to the committee on crafts, made up )f Mrs. Karl O. Mitchell, Mrs. Thomas G. Barton and Mrs. Clifton Clif-ton Tavlor. Manv useful anil beautiful Christmas gift suggestions, sugges-tions, including pillows, planters, wall plaques and house shoes were shown and denonstrated. Mrs. William Boardman displayed dis-played and showed how to make many lovely Christmas decora-lions, decora-lions, and Amos Hatch explaind :he fine art in the making of eramirs, after which each member mem-ber made a fancy pill box to take home with her. Delightful refreshments were served by the hostess, Mrs. Hatch, assisted by Mrs. Wm. Marsden, co-hostess, at the close )f the meeting. The next gathering of the club members, according to club reporter re-porter Mrs. W. Clair Rowley, will be held on Dec. 19 at the home of Mrs. Melva Barton In Para-jonah, Para-jonah, and will be the annual Christmas Gift Box program. : ; ry A i 4 Ll L. N.
