Pipe for the installation of the sprinkling system sys-tem for the Painted Hills Golf Course in Cedar City arrived early this week and was immediately unloaded and spread out in preparation for installation. The initial order of pipe was contracted for at over $24,000 and will serve as the feeder line for the installation. Trenching is the next item on the agenda, according to Milt Jolley, president, and that work will get underway this week in preparation for the installation of the water system. Work has been progressing at a rapid rate on the course with tees and green preparations consuming most of the effort ef-fort of the past two weeks. Much heavy equipment, as shown above, has been made available for use on the course by various organizations and companies. |
