Show Elks Lodge Extends Invitation to Flay Day Prooram J. Vurge Smith. Exalted Ruler of Cedar City Elks Lodge, extends ex-tends an invitation to the people of Cedar City to participate with the members of the Elks Club in a fitting observance of Flag Day to bo held at the Lodge on June 18, Sunday, at 4 p.m. With the steadily advancing throat of Communism in the Western Hemisphere that has become be-come a symbol of Freedom throughout the world, and that every loyal American should pause in his daily routine and pay homage to the symbol of a Freedom that so many of our friends and members of our families fam-ilies have sought to continue with the sacrifice of their own life. Services will begin at the Lodge promptly at 4.00. They have been arranged under the direction of Robert Dimick, Esquire Es-quire of the Lodge, and will include in-clude the pageant of the flags of the United States, with Rox Harris and Keith Smith speaking. speak-ing. Officers of the Lodge will participate in the program, with the Eighth Ward Explorer Post No. 2330 assisting with the Flag Pageant. |
