Show Former Cedar Student Participates in COPMusic Recital Original selections by members of the campus Composers Club were featured in a University ot the Pacific recital at Stockton,.. Calif., Monday. Among the numbers on the-program the-program was an original composition com-position for piano, four hands, by Richard Christiansen, a junior of edar City. Mr. Christiansen is. the on of Delia Christiansen Macfarlane, formerly of Cedar City. He has studied under Prof, and Mrs. Blaine Johnson of this, city and is attending University of the Pacific on a music scholarship. schol-arship. His composition is "Sonatina for Piano, Four Hands" and was played by members of the music mu-sic department at the University. Constance Neville and Dougla Renoids. While a student in Cedar City, Mr. Christiansen entertained extensively ex-tensively before gatherings of school and community affairs. |
