Show Parowan High Shifts Attention To Outside Activities With the recent ending of the basketball season for the Parowan Paro-wan High School, Coach Dick Jones' and his boys will turn their attention to the track and field sport as much as weather will permit. Parowan will not enter baseball play in Region Six this year. Considerable delay in getting out for track and field activities acti-vities was caused by the prolonged pro-longed basketball season, including includ-ing the B team tournament at Fillmore last week. But Coach Jones states that attention wu'l now turn to outside activlies although al-though interest is lacking in the track and field sport. A number of boys have been working out this week with others' oth-ers' to come out later. Among those who are trying out for the track and field sport are Kent Whitney, Kent Talbot. Jimmie Burt, Reed Thornton, Don Hal-terman Hal-terman who have had some experience ex-perience In previous years, along with Jimmie Robinson and, Roy Bayles In the younger group. |
