Show High School Prepares Annual Dance Review Rehearsals for the annual Dance Review at the Cedar City High School moved into full swing this week with every available hour during the day being used to advantage. The dance review will be stag-ed stag-ed in the College of Southern Utah fieldhouse on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, April 11 and 12. Special costumes are being made by the participants through the cooperation of the home economics eco-nomics department at the school to carry out the theme of this year's review "Rhythm in Color." Directing the activities are Miss Winona Prince, girls' physical education director at the school, and Miss Sidney Reading of the faculty. Some of the numbers that will be included in the review are "Waterfall," and a number "Manhattan Town" with soloist Shirley Ann Mclntyre. Sandra Wood will also appear as a soloist solo-ist In the number "Abstraction." The newly organized "March-ettes," "March-ettes," a precision drill team at the school will present two numbers. num-bers. The project Includes all the student body with several boys also participating in some of the special numbers'. Parents, friends and patrons are encouraged to attend. The re-I re-I view in past years, has been a popular event and highly colorful color-ful entertainment. |
