Show Ram B Team Ends i Tourney j Play in Second Place The Parowan High school B basketball team participated In the first annual B team tournament tourna-ment of the Millard Division las week end in Fillmore, and won1 second place In the meet, accord- j lng to Coach Dick Jones. The Juab High B team from Nephi, won the tourney, defeating the Parowan team by a 50 to 46 score on Saturday night In the opening round Parowan Paro-wan won from Millard by a 49 to 47 score, Juab beat MU-ford MU-ford and Delta beat Beaver. Friday Fri-day night Juab won over Delta, Millard beat Milford and Parowan Paro-wan and Beaver drew byes., j On the final night Millard won from Beaver for fourth place, Milford beat Delta for third place and Juab beat Parowan to take first and give Parowan second. sec-ond. I In the first night of play the officiating was close and Boyd Whitney, Reed Thornton and Duane Lamoreaux of Parowan and three Millard players fouled out of the game. On Saturday night Parowan lost Whitney, Lamoreaux and Kenneth Sim-kins Sim-kins via are foul route, and had to leave David Adams home with the flu, which helped defeat the, local crew that night High scorers for Parowan in the lrst game were Thornton with 15 and Whitney with 17. and the last night Thornton was high point man of the meet with 29 points.
