Mrs. Kenneth Topham Is 111 and spent the past week In the Iron County Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Adams of Cedar City spent Sunday with Mrs. Adams' parents. Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot. Mrs. Zella Worthen . of Pangultch Pan-gultch came Friday to spend a few days with her granddaughter granddaugh-ter and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ar thur Evans. Our congratulations go to Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Dalton. who were married Saturday In Las Vegas, Nev. Mrs. Dalton Is the former Cleone Robb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Robb. Mr. Dalton Is from Parowan, a son of Mrs Christine Dalton and the late Carlyle Dalton. Mr. and Mrs. Robb and Mrs. Dalton accompanied accompan-ied the voung couple to Las' Vegas Ve-gas for their marriage. The Robhs visited with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Orton and family and Miss Esther Robb. Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot. Shlrleen and Jerry, along with Mrs. Orson Talbot, Anna and Judv, spent Saturday in Beaver to he.'p their mother and grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Jane Gale, celebrate her 80th birthday. Open house was held and a host of relatives and friends called during the day to wish Mrs. Gale many happy returns of the day. Mrs. Hannah Robinson, Mrs. Hazel Jean Robinson. Mrs. Sarah Robinson, Sherry Dawn Evans Laura Lamoreaux, Carlyn Jones Wm. T. Davenport Lvle Topham. Heber Lund, Kennv Topham, Robin Ro-bin Lamoreaux and Mike Lamoreaux Lamor-eaux were the people from here who helped to make up the 70C voice MIA chorus at the Region II music festival held In Cedar City Saturday. James Anderson took the bus up Thursday night so members of the pep club from the school could accompany accom-pany them. Mrs. Idella Robinson has spent part of the past week in Summit with Mr. and Mrs. Dee White, helping to care for her new granddaughter. Robin Lamoreaux Lyle Topham, Anette Dalton, Kathleen Barton, were the P II S Junior students who took part in the Promenade Friday evening. Many of the parents, par-ents, relatives and friends attended at-tended the annual Promenade in Parowan. Leah Jsan Boardman, Erma Lamoreaux, Golda Topham, Sarah Sar-ah Stones, Lula Bastian, Delia Topham, Bertha Topham. Mr. and Mrs. WiUard Lund and Mr. and Mr. Terry Lund attended sessions at the sessions at the St. George tern-pje tern-pje on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Homer Board-man Board-man were very happy to have their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lor in Robinson of Kanarra, and Leah Jean's sister, and two sons of California visit with them Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Benson were over from Parowan on Sunday Sun-day to attend Sacrament meeting and to have their Infant daughter daugh-ter christened, by her grandfather, grandfath-er, Frank Williamson. Mrs. Dortha Barton and sons 1 Greg and Kyle returned from Or-dcrville Or-dcrville where they have spent the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Sorenson, and other relatives. Clara Humpries of Kanab came with them for a visit here. Edwin Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson, who has been in England In the military service for some months has been transferred to France at military headquarters S H A P E. This camp is located a few miles from Paris and 15 different differ-ent nations are represented at the camp. Mrs. Bertha Topham and members mem-bers of her family from various places enjoyed Easter at the City Park In St. George. Jane, Audrey, Garth and Milton Mil-ton Robinson of Salt Lake City are spending their spring vacation vaca-tion from school in this locality. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lowe and children of Beaver visited the James H. Anderson family on Saturday, while Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Limb and family, also of Beaver were here Sunday with the Andersons. Mr. and Mrs. Revere Robinson left Monday morning for Spring City to attend the funeral of a relative. Mrs. Irene Robinson came home Saturday from Provo with Mr. and Mrs. Bud Robinson and daughter. The young couple returned re-turned to Provo Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl LeFevre and family of Salt Lake City spent the Easter vacation here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Asa Topham, and other relatives. |
