Show Junior High Students Inform Lions Of School Programs Monday noon at the regular Lions Club meeting students of the Cedar Junior High furnished the program. Principal Lorln C. Milles arranged ar-ranged the program and took charge. He Introduced the numbers num-bers and told of the exploratorV and guidance program at the school. Musical numbers were furnished furnish-ed as follows: a trumpet sojo, Judy Christensen; vocal solo ,Beth Marie Bauer; vocal double trio. Susan Bird, Annette Seaman, Marjorie Crabtree, Joanne Lunt, Nancy Petty and Ann Sherratt. Talks were given by Roger Hig-bee Hig-bee describing the organization and workings of the savings bank, stamps and bond programs; pro-grams; David Reichstag told of the experience the boys were having In the model plane and aviation class; Cathy Stelner, student body president, Informed the lions of how the Junior high student council functioned and Richy Lawrence enlightened the group on the history and uses of uranium In the state and nation. Mary Jane Seaman and Reed Heywood were accompanists for the musical numbers. |
