Show CSU Speech Students , Prepare I Radio, TV Productions' Students in the radio-television workshop at College of Southern Utah are getting some valuable first-hand knowledge of the operation op-eration of radio and television! the hard way. j A weekly 15-minute radio program pro-gram and a weekly half-hour live television show are keep-l ing member of the class busy. Students registered for Speech 84, under the direction of Prof. Richard M. Rowley, are writing and presenting their own original origin-al scripts. The radio show is broadcast each Friday at fi:30 over Station KSUB and is entitled en-titled "C S U in Review." The show consists of news items, per-sonality per-sonality features, and on-the-spot recordings' of happenings around the campus. Besides the members of the class, other students stu-dents are participating on the show as guests. The television show Is' to be broadcast over station TCTV, with the first of the series planned plan-ned for Thursday night. Featured on this first CSU Telecast will be selected student and faculty personalities. The script calls for four regular features, tentatively tentative-ly named "Jam Session Jury," "Personality Parade," "Behind the Scenes at C S U," and "Smile Time." |
