Show NEWS MOTES FROM SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Davenport j It was a most memorable occasion oc-casion for those of us who were in Cedar City Monday evening j of last week to hear the 27 year! old Violin Virtuoso, John Dalley of New York City in concert at the CSU Auditorium, ably and beautifully accompanied by Mrs. Loa Johnson. John is the son of Orien Dalley, formerly of Summit Sum-mit and now residing in Ann Arbor, Mich. The reception following the concert, given by the Music Arts Association, In the Library Lounge, brought many friends and relatives together from near and far. Hulet, Mr. and Mrs. Carlisle Hulcf, Mr. and Mr. Carl Evans, Mrs. Mary Dalley, Mrs. Sylva Staplcy, Mrs. Minnie Dalley and Bonnie Dalley. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley enjoyed en-joyed visits from their daughters last week when they came for the John Dalley Concert Nedra and Jerry Storey and two sons of Boise, Ida., arrived here Saturday Sat-urday and Mrs. Carl Davis drove r r from Richfield, Monday for hn overnight stay. They returned to their homes Tuesday of last week. Mr. and Ms. Ronald Dalley of Cedar City and Mrs. Amy Green of Salt Lake City visited here one day last week with their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalicy and other relatives. . Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Dalley were happy to have their son, Leon, home for an overnight stay recently. He was accompanied by a cousin, Lloyd Dalley. Both are living in Hunter, Utah. Mrs. Leona Smith returned home early Saturday after a three-week's visit In Lander, Wy., with her son and family, the Victor Vic-tor Smiths and a granddaughter, Miss Kay Richards. Miss Francis Farrow of M? r-cury, r-cury, Nev., spent the week enii with her folks, the Raymond Farrows. Mrs. Jack Farrow and daughter daugh-ter Shirley, accompanied her daughter and family, the Clark Maxwells of Enoch to Salt Lake City last Wednesday for a visit with another daughter, Mrs. Con-ley Con-ley Adams and family. They returned re-turned home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Matheson were in the Salt Lake area over the week end and visited with Mrs. Matheson's brother-in-law and sister, Pete and Virgie Mick-elson Mick-elson of Midvale. Those attending M. I. A. Tues-day Tues-day evening of last week had the privilege of listening to a most interesting talk given by Brother Hobbs of the Cedar City L.D.S. Seminary. |
