Show I ' CEDAR CITY SOCIAL SWING Birthday greetings were In store for Marcele Topham Monday, Mon-day, March 11, as she celebrated the special anniversary day. Calling at her home in the morning morn-ing were members of her Pinochle Pino-chle group Ann Gower, Lilian Barton, Itha Robinson and Deloris Delor-is Webster. Later in the afternoon after-noon Mrs. Topham greeted other well-wishers Dora Gower, Donna Jolley, Annette Bauer and Barbara Bar-bara Mitchell. Virginia and Barlow have made their home In Orem since January. During their stay in this area they also visited with Virginia's father, Jim Sargent. Entertaining members of her Friday night Pinochle group last week was Mrs. J. V. Adams. Joining the group was Ruby Webster, five prizes were awarded award-ed by the hostess to Wanna Ho-yle, Ho-yle, Marian Rosenberg, Ruby Webster, Utah Barrick and Donna Reid. , Mrs. Lynn Leishman and her son Jim recently returned from a one week visit in Mayfield, Utah. They were guests at the home of Mrs. Leishrnan's father, Hans C. Bogh, and her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bogh. Mr. Leishman was in Salt Lake City attending a special schooling in connection with his work. Las Vegas was the destination for Mr. and Mrs. Mont Sanders who with their children, visited Nevada last week. A portion of their mid-week holiday was spent in Boulder and touring the Hoowevr Dam site. While in Nevada they were guests at the Merlin Barnhurst home. Currently vacationing in Cedar Ce-dar City is Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hill and their son Kyle of Helper, Hel-per, Utah. The visitors are guests at the home of Mrs. Hill's mother moth-er Mrs. Lilly Clark. During their brief stay they plan to visit other friends and relatives. |
