Show Women Bowlers Turn In Good Scores in Week's Play Donna Cooley and Ruth Seeg-miller Seeg-miller shared top honors for women wo-men bowlers during the past week as they each posted a 548 series. Mrs. Cooley, however, took additional honors with the top game with a 222 In compiling her high series. Individual league highs were as follows: Thursday Morning Scratch: Mrs. Cooley rolled her 222 game and 518 series in this league for the top effort. In team competition competi-tion Team 1 consisting of Maude Strate, Dee Larson and Itha Lindsay Lind-say had the top game of 515 and team 3 made up of Nora Smith, Melva Rowberry and Evelyn Jones had the top series of 1359. Strike Ettes: Myna Hoyt had the high honors with a 187 game and 490 series. First Security, Bank with a 761 game and a 2116 series was tops in the teanV department. Cedar Belles: Jackson Cleaners and R, C. Cola exchange first and second places in the team high game and series. Jackson Cleaners had the top series with a 2289 followed by R. C. Cola with a 2173. For a single team game R. C. Cola was first with a 778 with Jackson in second withj a 7G5. Individually Myna Hoyt had the top series with a 518 and Tillie Biederman had the) high game of 191. Donna Cooleyi finished second in both events with 595 series and a 190 high game. j Alley Katts: Lillie Hazel Tiad the top game of 190 but Ruth Seegmiller posted a 548 series which tied for top honors for all women bowlers during the week. Kolob Sheet Metal swept the team division with a game of 813 and a 2304 series. I |
