Show Literary Club Honors Mrs. W. Clair Rowley Mrs. Alice Gardner was hostess host-ess as the Parowan Literary Club met for their meeting on March 6. Mrs. 'A. Hills Orton assisted Mrs. Gardner. Presiding over the meeting was Mrs. Thales Brown, clut president. presi-dent. The early part of the evening eve-ning was devoted to honoring Mrs. W. Clair Rowley, the club's candidate for Mother of the Year from this district. Tributes were given by Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Max Hendrlckson. Special guests were Mrs. Rowley's Row-ley's daughter, Ms. Waldo .(Af-ton) .(Af-ton) Topham and her son, and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rowley. The lesson for the evening was given by Mrs. Hazel Stevens, nutritionist nu-tritionist from the State Depart, ment of Health. This informal discussion was very much enjoyed enjoy-ed by all members present. Mrs. Thomas G. Barton made arrangements arrange-ments for Mrs. Stevens to meet with the group.
