Show NEWS OF ACTIVITIES IN SUMMIT I By Donna Darcnport Twenty-three members of the "Project Temple" group, including includ-ing the advisor and bishopric and wives were guests of the instructor instruc-tor Karl Mitchell and wife at their home in Parowan Saturday evening, where a lesson was presented pre-sented by Mr. Mitchell. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served by Shirley White, Daisy Prince and Donna Davenport. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. II u let hosted the group the week before. Marc and Margie Allton are parents of a baby girl, born Sunday Sun-day at the Valley View Medical Center. Proud first-time grandparents grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Farrow. The Cub Scout annual Blue and Green banquet and pack meeting was held Saturday evening eve-ning with Cub Master Theron Foster in charge. Seven boys from here, Danny Hulet, Dennis Farrow, Mark Dalley, Richard Evans, Craig White, Steven and Keith Lawrence, along with most of their parents, attended. Mr. and Mrs. Revere Robinson of Paragonah, accompanied their grandson Craig White who was inducted into Cub Scouting. Dennis Farrow and Mary Dal ley had filled all of their requirements require-ments and graduated from the program. They and their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Farrow, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dalley presented Cut Scout leaders, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Lawrence, with a book at the banquet, in appreciation appre-ciation for their service. Mary Louise Easllty, foster daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Lawrence, participated In the Cedar Ce-dar Junior High production of "Babes in Toyland," which was presented on Wednesday and Fr! day nights of last week. Donna Rae Hulet of Newcastle visited here with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Re rt rand Dalley, Dal-ley, over the past week end. Jay Tucker was here from Kearns to visit with his wife Kay, over the week end. She will remain here with her folks, the Arden Richards family, for a longer stay. The Lester Dalley family of Las Vegas were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Dalley and Mr. and Mrs. James Prince. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Jones was a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Jones and their daughter daugh-ter Connie, and also Frank Win- kleman, all of Sacramenta, Cal. and Benny and Lucille Howe of Clearfield, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Dee L. Stapley and son Jeff and Mrs. Minnie Dalley, traveled to St. George Saturday. Mrs. Dalley visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hulet. |
