Show I NEWS FROM PARAGONAH ! Mrs. Hilma Lamoreaux Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Engle-stead Engle-stead came from St. George Wednesday Wed-nesday to spend a few days with their daughter, Mrs. Gwen Jones. Saturday the three traveled to Kingston to attend the wedding of the Enlestead's grandson, itonald Carl Knglestead, who wa married to Juana Lu Brindley. 1'hey were accompanied by Mrs. Maxine Keitfor and her son, Al-vin Al-vin H. of Bountiful and the lat-ter's lat-ter's girl friend who had arrived in Paragonah earlier. In addition to attending the wedding these, relatives also attended at-tended flhe wedding breakfast in Circleville ami an evening reception recep-tion at Junction. The family ' members from Bountiful relumed to. Paragonah following the festivities and visited vi-sited here the following day bo-fore bo-fore returning home. Mrs. Eva Bell, Mrs. Iras Jones. Warren Smith and his lady friend and her two little daughters traveled tra-veled to Adamsville Saturday for a visit with the Dale Smith family fami-ly who had come from Mid vale to spend the week end with Jo-lene's Jo-lene's narents. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lamoreaux Lamor-eaux and their daughters, Mrs. Coleen Clark and Mrs. Thelma Clow all of Henderson, Nev., were here lor the week end. iney w sited with Mr. and Mrs. D. Amasa Stones, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Davenport and other relatives here and in Cedar City. They were following the Junior M--Men tournament held in Paro-wan Paro-wan Friday and Saturday. Two grandsons of Mr. and Mrs. Lamoreaux La-moreaux were on the team representing repre-senting the Las Vegas area in the tournament. They were Larry Clark and Mike Angelo. Mrs. Eva Bell observed her 81st birthday February 25th and several se-veral friends joined her to celebrate cele-brate the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot traveled to Salt Lake City for the week end. They were guests at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. El-win El-win Talbot. They also visited with their son Jerry and his wife before returning home late Sunday. Sun-day. Ardell Talbot spent Friday and Saturday in Provo and Salt Lake City visiting with friends and family members. Mr. and Mrs. Orlo Topham had numerous guests at their home last week. On Tuesday, Mr. and Mrs. Jack McClary of Las Vegas and Mrs. Coleen Williams of Kanarraville were here for the day. Mrs. Topham's son, Jay Stolk, of Ely, Nev., arrived here Tuesday Tues-day for an overnight visit at the Topham home. Carl Norton of Marysvale visited vi-sited here one day with the Top-hams Top-hams and his mother, Mrs. Eliza Norton. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Shakespeare Shakes-peare of Tropic visited at the Orlo Or-lo Topham home one evening. For the week end Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hastings came from Las Vegas. Ve-gas. Mrs. Miriam Limb and members mem-bers of her family were here from Beaver Sunday to spend the day with Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson. i Mr. and Mrs. D. Amasa Stones ! were in Cedar City Sunday to visit witli their son, Mario, and family. Miss Mina Lamoreaux was home from Salt Lake City fur a week end visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamoreaux. The week end of February 20th Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund and daughter Uayle and Mrs. Lola Robb traveled to Boulder Lily and Las Vegas. Clara Mae spent the week end in Summit. Mr. and Mrs. Lrrol Larnoreaux accompanied their daughter, Mis. Laura Barton, and her mree am-dren am-dren to Layton Saturday and were returning home Monday. Mrs. Irene ttobinson was transferred trans-ferred from a Salt Lake City Hospital to the Valley View Medical Me-dical Center In Cedar City on Saturday. Her son Elmo and two of his children of Orem made the trip here to bring her and returned to their hjir.e tne loi-lowing loi-lowing day. Mr. and Mrs. Robin Lai-rieaux and their small daughter. Mo-nique Mo-nique of Provo were week end visitors to southern Utah. They visited with Geraldine's people, the Koy Stubbs tamuy oi 1'aro-wan 1'aro-wan and with Robin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamoreaux in Paragonah. Mrs. Helen Jean Stubbs and two daughters oi Cedar City accompanied thein back to Provo on Sunday. Mrs. Thelma Wood nas been here visiting with liei sisters and brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Davenpott.. On Sunday, February 21st her sons Tom and Ben came to get her and after an overnight visit here the three returned to Salt Lake Cily together. to-gether. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Edwards had other guests last week. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wells and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Langley and their daughter, all of Sacramento, Cal., were here. They visited for several se-veral days at the Edward's home. Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere Robinson Robin-son left for Taft, Calif., early Monday morning to visit for a week with their son Dean and his family. They were accompanied by Robert Miller of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Victor R. Robinson Robin-son of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Kay Hansen of Salt Lake City j were week end visitors here with i the girls' parents, Mr. and Mrs.) William T. Davenpc-t and other family members. Thursday evening of last week the building missionaries, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Waterman, Neil O'Brien ami Krajik Hoyt, were honored at a farewell party held in the basement of the chapel. Many ward members were pre- ! sent to show these builders appreciation ap-preciation for the work on the Ward Building addition. Games .and refreshments were enjoy iu by those present. The Ward Boy fronts and V.-plor-rs presented the program in Sacrament meeting on Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. George Banks of Paro-, Paro-, wan, a District Scouter, was a speaker. Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson, Robin-son, Mrs. Bertha S. Topham and Mrs. Lula R. Bastian spent Thursday Thurs-day of last week at the Temple In St. George. A group of Sunday School students, stu-dents, numbering twenty, enjoyed enjoy-ed a trip to St. George Saturday to do baptismal work In the Temple. The young people enjoyed en-joyed a swimming trip to Veyo afterward.
