Show Cedar City High School Future Homemakers Attend FHA Convention in Salt Lake Cityj I JANE ESMEIER Candidate for State FHA V. P. A delegation of 33 from the Cedar High School Chapter of the Future Homemakers of America will attend the State FHA convention con-vention to be staged March 5, 6 and 7 in Salt Lake City. The group will be headquartered headquar-tered in the Hotel Utah while in the capital city. A highlight of the convention for the group will be sponsorship of Mts Jane Esmeier of the Ceaar High School chapter as a eiin'hJute for the office of fourth vlco president in the state organization. organ-ization. Miss Esmeier is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman W. Esmeier. Es-meier. She is a junior at the high school and has completed two active years in FHA. She is also a member of the Pep Club nd was general chairman of the FHA Harvest Ball. Her main hobbie is horses. The 33 young ladies will travel via school bus to Salt Lake City Friday and return Sunday evening. eve-ning. Plans for the three-day event will include sight-seeing and special activities in addition to the convention agenda. They will see the opening of "My Fair Lady," at the Center Theater and attend a Hootenanny. They will be in attendance at a reception for the officer candidates and at a banquet which will include installation of new state ofilcers. Sunday the Cedar Chapter has planned to attend the LDS Tabernacle Ta-bernacle Choir broadcast which will be followed by a tour of the temple grounds. The girls will have a chicken dinner before boarding buses to return to Cedar City. Six members have been chosen by the chapters as voting delegates dele-gates who will ballot for new state offices. They are Donna Kae Hyatt, Sandra Kupfer, Chris Dotsn, Trudie Clark, Jan Jones and Rosemary Carlson. Other chapter members who will be attending include Elaine Perry, Carol Seri, Susan Tucker, Nellie Cox, Jane Esmeier, Carol Hafen, Marilyn Peterson, Lynda Frehner, Joyce Olsen, Evelyn Heyborne, Lorraine Mosdell, Ilene Warby, Sharon Stephens, Susan Hamilton, Paula Judd, Chris Lea-ny, Lea-ny, Sandy Bauer, Melody Esch, Patsy Maxwell, Lara Barron, Chris LeFevre, Sharon Green, Janice Thompson, Mary Hey wood, Judi Bulloch and Susan Thomson.
