Show BPW Club Holds Fund Dinner and Program Members of the Cedar City Business and Professional Women's Wo-men's Club met at the Elks Club to enjoy a delicious buffet dinner din-ner and evening of games and entertainment. The International Affairs and Finance committees, consisting of Mrs. Catherin Crichton. Mrs. Pauline Nelson, Miss Janet Rollo, Mrs. Mary Anker, and Mrs. Ellen Housor, were in charge of the affair, which was to raise funds for the Club's contribution to the Heart Fund and Youth Project. Misses Sharon Church and Nellie Nel-lie Cox sang two beautiful numbers, num-bers, "Danny Boy," and "Evening Prayer." Their acompanlst was Miss Eileen Seegmiller. Attending from Parowan and Paragonah were two young ladies, la-dies, Misses Maurine Smith and Anne Jones, who are natives of England and have recently come to Parowan and Paragonah to make their home. They entertained enter-tained with folk songs and a selection from "My Fair Lady." All present were attired in native na-tive costumes of a number of countries. Represented were Japan, Ja-pan, China, Hawaii, Mexico, Russia, Rus-sia, England, and Pioneer Days. |
