Show Books Purchased By CSU Library With SUP Donation Books purchased with the $300 gift which was made to the library li-brary of the College of Southern Utah last Octoorr by the Sons f tTk ---. . cently arrived, it was announced today by librarian A. T. Challis. The money was stipulated for the acquisition of books dealing with western history, and the following titles have Just been received: "Journal of Discourses," a 26-volume 26-volume set; "History of Brigham Young, 1847-18G7," "Irtermoun-tain "Irtermoun-tain Railroads, Standard and Narrow Guage" by Merrill D. Bcal; "Brave Warriors" by Norman Nor-man B. Wiltsey; "The Bannocks of Idaho" by Brigham D. Madsen: "Shush Ma" by Elizabeth M. Lauritzen; "The Oregon Desert" by E. R. Jackman and R. A. Long; "Trigonometry, a Gallery of Gun righteis" by Eufione Cunningham; Cunning-ham; "The Mountain Meadows Massacre" by Juanita Rrooks. The remainder of the money has been used, Mr. Challis said, to purchase a life membership for the library In the Utah State Historical Society. This will insure in-sure a perpetual subscription to the "Historical Quarterly," a valuable val-uable periodical source of historical his-torical Information, he added. |
