Show Black-JolleyExchange Vows in Stage Stop Setting Marriage vows were exchanged Friday evening, June 10, in a delightful de-lightful setting at Milt's Stage Stop in Cedar Canyon, uniting in marriage, Vie Black of Beaver, and Milt Jolley, popular local businessman. The ceremony was performed by Bishop LaNoir Jones before a group of close friends and relatives. Immediately following the ceremony cer-emony the couple were honored at a reception in the dining room of the Stage Stop, where a large number of friends who called during the evening were served at a smorgasbord. Attending the bride and groom were Mrs. Brose Bulloch, matron of honor, and Cluff Jolley, brother of the groom as best man. Following the reception the couple left on a honeymon trip to California. The bride, a daughter of Dudley Dud-ley Gillis of Beaver, is well known in Cedar City, having been employed at the Bank of Southern South-ern Utah for the past two years. Attending the ceremony and reception re-ception were three of her aunts, Mrs. L. II. Oviatt, Mrs. Oscar Larson Lar-son and Mrs. Dennis White, all of Beaver. The groom, a son of Mrs. Ne-phi Ne-phi Jolley, Cedar City, is operator of Milt's Circus Lounge and Milt's Stage Stop in Cedar City. He is a veteran of military service, having served with the United States Navy during World War II, and with the 213th Field Artillery Ar-tillery during the Korean conflict. con-flict. The couple will return to Cedar City this week to make their home. |
