Show Taylor Family Reunion to Be Held June 25-26 I Preparations are going forward for the first gathering of the des-cendents des-cendents of George Taylor, to be held in Parowan on Saturday and Sunday, June 25 and 2G. It is planned that a family organization organi-zation will be formed at a business busi-ness meeting during the two day affair, and several social gatherings gather-ings are also on the agenda. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Taylor are acting as temporary chairman and secretary sec-retary of the affair this year. Events of the reunion will get under way with registration at the Old Rock Church, to begin at 9 a. m. Saturday, with those who come in from out of town, as well as local members of the family to register during the morning at which time visits to the relic rooms may be made. A group dinner will be held at the Five Mile Forest Camp at 1 p. m. followed by a business and organization meeting at 3 p. m. at the same place. A program pro-gram with family members furnishing fur-nishing the entertainment is set for 8 p. m. and this will be followed fol-lowed by dancing at 9:30, the pro-pram pro-pram will be held in the First Ward chapel and the dance in fie recreation hall, with the public pub-lic invited to these two events. I On Sunday the family mem- bers are invited to visit the religious relig-ious services in various wards, visit the mountains or parks In this vicinity. In the afternoon the family will give the program in the sacrament meeting of the Parowan First Ward. The reunion reun-ion will close with the different I family groups meeting following the church services. |
