Show STARTS MON. Swim Lessons Planned at Municipal Pool I Wallace "Red" Osborne, man-' man-' ager of the municipal swimming pool, announces that free swim-, swim-, ing lessons will be given for two hours each day throughout the summer season, and urges all youngsters and adults to take ad-; ad-; vantage of this opportunity to learn to swim. ' The swimming classes will be I held from 10 a. m. to 12 noon each day, with beginners to receive re-ceive instruction from 10 to 11 ' o'clock, and with Intermediate ' and advanced swimmers to receive re-ceive instruction from 11 a. m. to noon. The schedule calls for Cedar City girls to receive instruction 'on Monday, Cedar City boys on Tuesday, adults on Wednesdays, girls from outside of Cedar City j on Thursday, and boys from outside out-side Cedar City on Friday. Mr. Osborne points out that not only Is the Instruction for these classes free, but also those receiving re-ceiving Instruction are granted free admission to the pool as well. Each person, however, must provide his or her own suit and towel. The regular open hours for the pool is 2 to 9:30 p. m. each day, except Sunday, when the pool is only only from 2 to 5:30 p. m. Admission charges are 15 cents for children and 30 cents for adults until 6 p. m., and 40 cents for children and adults after G p. m. Special rates are offered through season tickets, which may be purchased at the pool. I |
