Show 4-H Training School Opens on CSU Campus Today More than 100 older 4-H Club members from southern Utah counties will gather at the College Col-lege of Southern Utah campus today to attend the 1955 training school. Wallace Sjoblom, Iron County agricultural agent, announces an-nounces that the older 4-H Club members will be accompanied to the school by their county leaders lead-ers and extension staff members. The school will continue through Saturday and will fea- ture training of the older members mem-bers in camp conduct, song leading, lead-ing, recreational leadership, handicraft, forestry, and other phases of camp leadership to fit them for leadership In their re- spective counties. I The club members will be housed in dormitories at C S U and will attend daily sessions under direction of Glen Balrd, state 4-H Club supervisor, and his assistant, Gordon Beckstrand, who will be aided by the various county agents. The three-day school will be directed at qualifying additional members of 4-H Clubs as leaders lead-ers In the various county camps to be conducted later In the summer. |
