" . rim i e "J V, , . ,.-- 1 '.Mil i The recently accepted community project for the development of an oil surfaced parkins lot at the College of Southern Utah fieldhouse was well underway last night as the result of activities during "A" Day, the annual cleanup day at the college. col-lege. Taking advantage of the cleanup activities ac-tivities students and townspeople responded re-sponded to get the project well underway in one day of work. Trucks and grading equipment were made availagle by var- ious agencies and with students and townspeople buckling down to work, the parking area immediately north of the fieldhouse where "Trailer Village" formerly form-erly stood, was cleared and leveled during dur-ing the day and is now ready for gravel. It is expected that gravel will be laid and surfacing completed by the opening of school in September. Activity at the parking park-ing lot is pictured above. |
