Show ' j j i rJ r r r r r - r i Hew Legion Officers Elected ; At District Meet ' At the District Seven convention conven-tion of the American Legion held at Cedar City last Friday afternoon after-noon and evening Calne Chris-tensen Chris-tensen of Enterprise was elected as district commander to succeed Joseph Manzione of Beaver dur-in dur-in the coming year. Mr. Manzione Man-zione presided over the meetings. Orville Isom, post commander of the Cedar City Post No. 73 for the past year, was elected as district vice commander to succeed suc-ceed Mr. Christensen. Representatives from 10 of the posts in District Seven were present pres-ent at the convention here and an outstanding meeting was held with II. D. Reed, national vice commander of the American Legion, Le-gion, of Albuquerque, N. M. speaking to the group. Several department officials were also in attendance. Following the opening session of the convention at which the Legionnaires and the auxiliary members joined, the Legion members moved to t heir election session and business meeting. A social was held at Hotel El Escalante following the business session. |
