Women Voters League Holds Annual Election Meet The annual election of officers offi-cers of the Cedar City League of Women Voters was held Tnurs-day, Tnurs-day, April 22, with Mrs. William Burton named as president of the league. Mrs. D. C. Schmutz was named first vice president, Mrs. Arthur Gardner, second vice president; Mrs. Irvin Ulver, secretary; Mrs. Karl Gardner, treasurer, and Mrs. M. A. Cowley, Mrs. Roy Lundgren, Mrs. Gilbert Janson, Mrs. D. C. Dix, Mrs. H. Dale Milne and Mrs. E. H. Hearrell, directors. Mrs. E. F. Stark, Mrs. Howard Nelson and Mrs. Robert Goodwin were named to the nominating committee. A budget for the new year was adopted and the bylaws were amended to increase the number of elected and appointed directors. direct-ors. This action was necessary because of the enlarged work of the local league in its s-ccond year. The local government item selected se-lected for the program was a "Know Your County" survey with special emphasis on city health and sanitation. Members also discussed plans for attending attend-ing the state conference in Provo on May 6. i i
