Pat Stephenson Made Dram Major For Jr. High School Pat Stephenson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Stephenson, was named drum major of the Cedar City Junior High School when contests were completed Monday noon. Miss Stephenson competed with Kay Ashcroft and Lyona Cox to win the coveted position. po-sition. The other two will serve as twirlers with the band, and will be available for relief duty as drum major. The contest was judged by Mrs. Mary Heyborne and Mrs. Geraldine Fisher, former drum majors at the junior and senior high schools, and Miss Sharon Givan, high school drum major. Miss Stephenson will succeed Diana Cooley, who held the position posi-tion last year and is in the high school this year. The new drum major will direct di-rect the band in the Region Six music festival to be held at St. George on Saturday, May 8.
