Generous Donors Provide College With Gifts' Leigh Furniture and Carpet Company and Cedar Home Furnishings, Fur-nishings, local dealers in Cedar City, have contributed a substantial sub-stantial amount of equipment and furniture for the new men's dormitory on the campus of the College of Southern Utah, It was revealed by McKay Cloward, housing director. The two recreation and lounge rooms In the new housing unit are now completed with the addition ad-dition of furniture donated by the two firms. Several couches, chairs and other appropriate furniture fur-niture comprise the fine gift In another announcement from the office of the college It was learned that the Elks Lodge No. 1556 of Cedar City, had turned over funds derived from boxing events, staged' in conjunction with the athletic department, to buy new ring facilities. Ray Lee, exalted ruler of the Elks, stated that the Elks and athletic department would continue con-tinue to sponsor outstanding cards in this area. However, the need for additional equipment .has been recognized and previous previ-ous proceeds were turned to the college to buy the needed equip-'ment.
