Show Las Vegas Hi School Troupe To Perform at Game Enlivening the Snow College of Southern Utah basketball game January 22 will be a marching-dancing troupe from Las Vegas High School. Under the direction of Evelyn Stuki, sponsor, the vivacious group, known as the ''Rhythmettes." ''Rhythmet-tes." will arrive on cairmus Sat urday by chartered bus. The 22 all-girl ensemble will be feted at a luncheon in the student commons building at 5 p.m. by the Bacea Club, college educational educa-tional group. The locally noted performers will appear that night In both pre-game and half time activities. activi-ties. They have appeared at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas, were featured in the 1953 Tournament of Roses parade at Pasadena, Calif., and have appeared before many high school and college groups throughout this area. Membership to the club is highly competitive. Girls are chosen on basis of looks, ability, and rhythm. They are especially noted for their acute precision in march and dance routines. |
