Claude Urie, supervisor of the Cedar City streets department, right, oversees the removal of snow from Main Street following fol-lowing the heavy snowfall of Sunday afternoon af-ternoon and evening. A rather unique and different method of removal was used this year. The grader, in the early morning hours, moved Into the curbs and pushed t the snow into the center of the street. The city street department with the equipment, equip-ment, above, gathered up the snow and hauled it off. By 11 a. m. Monday the major ma-jor portion of the snow had been completely com-pletely cleared away. The department has received a number of commendations for the fine work.
