Drive for Support Of Colorado River Project Begins A drive to enlist Westerners in a crusade to protect western water wa-ter rights began this week. The program is sponsored by a citizens' group known as the Upper Colorado River Grass Roots Committee. Its members and all persons who support it, are enrolled en-rolled as "Aqualantes" water vigilantes who pledge to do everything possible to Insure passage by Congress of the Upper Up-per Colorado River Storage Project. Pro-ject. The project has been opposed by uninformed persons and by persons In other states with selfish sel-fish motives. That is why "Aqualantes" are needed to tell the true story of this great project. Every citizens can become an Aqualante merely by pledging support of the project and snnd-ing snnd-ing $1 or more to his Aqualante state organization. Utahns should send their contributions con-tributions to: Aqualantes, Salt Lake City. Help of all citizens is needed, because the future of the four states is dependent upon water and the Upper Colorado River Project provides for development of the West's last great water source.
