Show KMARRAVILLE Hannah Davis We are having cold weather after af-ter another snow storm here Sunday Sun-day which left several inches of new snow and which was accompanied ac-companied by a heavy wind which caused some drifting and left roads very slippery. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Reeves of Provo were week end visitors visit-ors here with Clayton's family, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Reeves. They returned to their home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Ora Heap and family of Salt Lake City were visitors here, having been called because of the serious illness and death of Mr. Heap's father, Vernon Heap of Parowan. They visited here with Mrs. Heap's mother, Mrs. Minn Piatt. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Williams were business visitors in Salt Lake City. Henry Zohner of St. George spent Sunday here with his brother bro-ther and family, Mr. and Mrs. Al-rick Al-rick Zohner. Jimmie Pollock who has been in Salt Lake City for some time is hers with his father, Sam L. Pollock. Arthur Jones and Glen Kenney of Cedar City were the speakers in sacrament meeting Sunday. Boyd Reeves, David Williams, Jerry Isom, Allen Davis and Leon Reeves were visitors in Mesquite, Nev. Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Verna Davis attended the funeral of Vernon Heap in Parowan Par-owan on Monday. Friends and relatives of W. C. Reeves called on him Jan. 18 to wish him well on his 88th birthday. birth-day. Mr. Reeves is enjoying good health and is always pleased to meet his friends. Mrs. Agnes Struble of Cedar City was a Monday visitor here with her daughter, Mrs. Barbara Williams, and family. |
