Former Resident Succumbs In Provo Hospital Frank G. Carpenter, a former resident of Cedar City, died in a Provo hospital Friday, Jan. 14, following a short illness. The former resident was 56 years of age at and at the time of his death was a resident of Kanab. While in Cedar City he was associated with the Utah Oil Co. and was a distributor for that company In Kanab at the time of his death. Funeral services were held in Kanab South Ward chapel on Tuesday and burial was in the Kanab cemetery. He Is survived by his wife, Ire Haycock Carpenter, three sons and one daughter: Rodney S., Blair S. and Steve R. Carpenter and Roma' Ann Carpenter all of Kanab; one brother, two sisters.
