Show Lloyd DeMille Leaves To Fill Mission In Southern States L,ioya ueAinie, son 01 jvir. ana Mrs. Alvln DeMille of this city left Tuesday for Salt Lake City where he entered the L D S Mission home Wednesday morning morn-ing in preparation for filling a one-year mission to the Southern States for the L D S church. Elder DeMille was honored at a farewell testimonial last Friday Fri-day evening sponsored by the Parowan first ward which he will represent in the mission field, with a large number of friends and relatives present. Elder DeMille is a graduate of Parowan high school, attended attend-ed B A C and spent a year in Korea with the 213th Field Artillery Ar-tillery Battalion, from which he returned a year ago. He is active ac-tive in church work, and has been serving as an assistant to the Sunday School Superintendent Superinten-dent of the First ward for some months. His mission headquarters headquar-ters will be in Atlanta, Ga. |
