Show Lt Rulon Woodbury Earns R and R Leave First Lieutenant Rulon Wood- ; bury, serving with the army in .Korea at the present time has Just recently completed a five-; five-; - day rest and recuperation leave I In Japan, according to his wife ; Lois who is presently staying in i Cedar City. i Lt. Woodbury, who is serving ' as a pilot of a liaison aircraft with a corps unit in Korea has also just recently undergone a ! physical examination admitting f him to flight time after an air craft accident, approximately a month ago. Mrs. Woodbury, relating the I story of the crash, explained that s Lt. Woodbury was taking off on ; a regular run when his engine j failed and he was forced to crash j land just a few hundred yards ' off the air strip. The plane that ; he was flying was wrecked and i Lt. Woodbury received several cuts about the head. According j to Mrs. Woodbury, he was hospi talized for a couple of days before be-fore being returned to his organi- zation. However, it is reported that he is recovering satisfactorily satisfac-torily and has returned to his original ori-ginal unit to continue his liaison work. While on R. and R leave in Japan, Lt. Woodbury telephoned his wife and assured her that he was not seriously injured and that in approximately five more weeks his front line tour of duty would be completed. After completing com-pleting his combat missions he will be re-assigned to the rear area to complete his tour of duty, du-ty, Mrs. Woodbury said. |
