Show Two Cedar Men Win ROTC Cadet Awards I Logan Cadet Major Thurman W. Gardner, Cedar City, received the Armed Forces Communication Association Senior Student award, donated by the Armed Forces Communication Assn., at the annual an-nual review held at Utah State Agricultural college. The award was presented during dur-ing the joint army-air force review re-view held in conjunction with the annual federal inspection of the Aggie ROTC units. The medal was given to the second year advanced ad-vanced cadet in communications communica-tions with the highest scholarship scholar-ship in military or air science and tactics. Mr. Gardner is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Gardner. He is a Junior student majoring in engineering. Logan Gayle Winterrose, Cedar Ce-dar City, was presented with the Sons of American Revolution medal me-dal donated by Utah Chapter, Sons of American Recvolution at the annual review held at the Utah State Agricultural college. The award was presented during dur-ing the joint army-air force review re-view held in conjunction with the annual federal inspection of the Aggie ROTC units. The award is given to the advanced ROTC cadet doing the best work in military grades, drill, and extracurricular extra-curricular activities. Mr. Winterrose is a son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Winterrose. He is a senior student majoring in business administration. |
