Womanhood Award I Won by Mrs. David L. Sargent A Womanhood award was established es-tablished at the Branch Agricultural Agricul-tural college this week when the David L. Sargent family or Leaar City presented the first annual award at convocation services Sunday and presented Dr. Daryl Chase, director, with a check to create a fund, the interest from which will provide for the annual an-nual award. The annual award will be known as the "Mildred Sargent Womanhood Award". Prof. Sargent has been a member mem-ber of the college staff for the past 33 years, having served as head of the agricultural and biological bio-logical departments. The entire family gathered at the convocation services when the presentation was made to the j college. As a climax the family surprised sur-prised Mrs. Sargent by making her the recipient of the first of the annual awards to be made. I She is a member of the graduat-nj graduat-nj .Class this year and will re- ceive her degree in elementary education at commencement ex-, ex-, ercises Friday evening. .
