Show Jaycees Install New Officers at Annual Banquet Young chicks, representing "exhausted "ex-hausted roosters" at the annual Junior Chamber of Commerce Installation In-stallation banquet, were given to three members in the presence of approximately 30 couples, Thursday Thurs-day at El Escalante hotel. Elton Stratton, Farrell Peterson and Sheldon Olds, literally exhausted ex-hausted roosters at the age of 36 left the ranks of the Jaycees, and joined the ranks of the ever increasing in-creasing exhausted rooster club. Miles Morris, who for the past year has guided the Cedar City organization turned over the gavel ga-vel and president's pin to Robert Linford, who will take over the reins for the 1953-53 year. Also installed at the impressive impres-sive ceremonies were James Hoyle, Jr., vice president; Al Thompson, secretary; Keith Le-Fevre Le-Fevre and Tom Brockmeir, board members, and Klien Rollo treasurer. trea-surer. Holdover board members are Gam Hirschi and Jack Thuet. Recognition for the outstanding outstand-ing work of last year's officers, including Keith Cripps, vice president; pres-ident; Elton Stratton, secretary, and outgoing board members Herman Anderson and Chester Cripps, was given by Mr. Morris. Burns Sherratt, who has just completed a term as a state vice president for the Utah Junior Chamber addressed the eroun at & - i' - the meeting and expressed his appreciation for the cooperation given him during the past year.
