Show Tune Draft Call Received as May Quota Leaves Ten Iron County men left Ce- J dar City today to report for induction in-duction into mil'tary duty under Selective Service, and 10 others left to report for pre-induction 1 physical examinations. Simultaneously Simultan-eously the Selective Service board received a call for six men to report for induction on . June 2, and three to report for' pre-induction physical examinations examina-tions on the same day. The 10 men who left for 'induction 'in-duction were Joel Bauer and David Da-vid Bentley, volunteers; James Condie, Carlyle Hunter, Austin Munson, Douglas Maxwell and Gayle Adams, all of Cedar City; Donald C. Lowder, Joseph O. Holyoak and Jos. L. Winter, all of Parowan. The man reporting for physicals physi-cals were Gary D. Williams, and John V. Davis, Kanarraville; Far-on Far-on O. Heap, Garth Gilger, Raynr Kaminska and William Birch, of Parowan; Paul Fife of Summit, Norman D. Lund of Paragonah, anH Arlfn Hrlmshaiv nH Forrest R. Terry, Cedar City. At the present time it seems ; that the county will fall at least one short of filling its quota for Induction in June. Only five men have qualified and are available for induction. Hwover, change in the status of somfc individuals may make it possible to meet the quota. Available at the present pres-ent time are Udell Green, who will complete school this week; Dwayne D. Johnson, LaMar Clark, Derald Eugene Carter and Ferry Blackburn. All of them are Cedar City men. However, Carter is now residing in California and Blackburn is residing in Provo.
