Show Business of Farming 1 Radio Program Plan Week of Variety. Farmers, apiarists, sheep, cattle, cat-tle, and orchard men will find something of particular interest tcr them during the coming week on Kennecott Copper Corporation's Corpora-tion's noon radio program, "This Business of Farming", it was announced an-nounced by Von Arme, radio station sta-tion KSL agricultural supervisor. One of the better known Utah beef breeders, Howard Blackham, will be the program guest on Friday, Fri-day, Dec. 12, at 12:15 p. m. He will give timely information on winter feeding. On Monday, Doc. 15, there will bo a discussion regarding care of bees during winter months for early spring pollination of alfalfa alfal-fa and orchards. Earl Hutchins, Utah state marketing mar-keting supervisor, will be the guest for, the Dec. 16 broadcast when he discusses progress in giading Utah fruit for marketing throughout the west. Box Elder County Agent Anson Call will tell sheepmen "How to live with Halogeton on winter ranges" on the Dec. 18 program. The last program for the week will be broadcast Dec. 19, giving farmers tips on storing and caring car-ing for fertilizer through winter win-ter months. Glen T. Baird, extension exten-sion agronomist, Utah State Agri-I Agri-I cultural college, will be the speaker for this program. |
