Show NEWCASTLE The annual Relief Society bazaar ba-zaar was held here Saturday night, -Dec. 6, opening with a chili supper at 6 p. m. followed by a program and then the bazaar. ba-zaar. Many useful and beautiful articles were displayed and sold, Including quilts, pillows, pillow slips, aprons, children's shirts and dresses', and many items of hand work. Charles Hart, Jr., was confirmed con-firmed a members of the church Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Knell and family and Herbert Knell, all of Washington, spent Sunday visit-ling visit-ling relatives and friends here. Miss Shirley Esplin, who is teaching school in Cedar City, spent the week end visiting with friends here. Mr. and Mrs. David Sterling of Leeds spent Thursday of last week visiting their children Charlene Knell and Katherine Christensen and families, and other relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Christensen Christen-sen are spending a week in Pro-vo Pro-vo on business. Mrs. Mary Tullis is home from the Iron County hospital, with her new baby girls. |
